Real Bride: Sara D’Ambrosio
How did you meet your husband? We met 8 years ago at my friend’s football beer pong event in the clubhouse. (How all great love stories start right?!) He winked at me from across the room and the rest was history!
Where did you get married? We got married at the beautiful Deux Belettes. It is a European inspired private property which feels like a little slice of heaven right in the middle of the Byron Bay Hinterland.Highlight of the day? One of my favourite moments was during entrees. ‘That’s Amore’ by Dean Martin played as ode to my Italian heritage. Every single guest was standing on top of their chair singing & playing tambourines while trays of limoncello shots were being passed around. The energy in the room was electric.
Who designed your dress? The incredibly talented Christie Nicole designed my dream wedding gown. Christie made the whole experience so special for me by sewing in a peice of my late father’s shirt in the shape of a heart on the inside of my gown. It was my something old and something blue. I also wore a silk gown by The Bar as my second gown.
